Very sexually explicit film about two couples swapping mates for a period of a month or so. The odd man out is North African Roschzy Zem. What is he doing here? How can we pretend France is this "multicultural?" What about the reviewers here, afraid to point this out? While everybody else appears bare-assed naked, he always has to wear trunks (Muslim modesty)...even while he's supposedly screwing the white chick? C'mon.

Wonderful dramatic comedy. Subtle observational humour. The four main players are all excellent. The story is one you've probably seen before: two couples meet, hit it off and soon they swap partners in an ongoing spouse-sharing arrangement. Many scenes where it is hard to tell that are simulated. The great thing about Four Lovers, however, is that it somehow feels fresh and cliché free.
