Jennifer Green Common Sense Media The film could've been more tightly edited: at an hour and 44 minutes, the length drags a bit. But the stories, actors, and setting all have their appeal, and the fact that all four possible pairs work out makes them all satisfying (to varying degrees). Rated: 3/5 Jan 25, 2022 Full Review Jade Budowski Decider Four to Dinner, while ambitious, ultimately delivers a middling end result. Even with the actors' sizzling chemistry, the film doesn't leave much of an impression. Jan 8, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Daryl D Confusing at times but I enjoyed it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/09/23 Full Review cam b The chemistry of Matteo and Giulia makes my heart melt everytime I watch the movie. This movie keeps audience on their toes without being predictable as most romantic comedies are. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm sorry but I didn't understand it at all. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review lillan s This movie could have been what it probably was set out to be, but it missed every possible opportunity despite a not too bad script. Instead of being food for thought, it's tiresome. Instead of keeping you on your toes, it's confusing. Yes, we got the "Sliding Doors" kind of POVs with different couples scenarios, but it wasn't smooth, nor interesting enough for me to stay focused on what couple I was following at what scene in the movie. I did what I never do - I quit after only half a movie that felt like an eternity. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I really enjoyed the movie. It took a little bit to grasp the concept, but once it clicked in, it was a sheer joy till the end. I think the story is based on the beleif that each one of us will be going through certain points in life, but some aspects of those certain moments can change depending on the outside circumstances and who you ended up with, a new take on determinism if you will. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/22 Full Review Audience Member I was a bit distracted at the beginning when Netflix automatically showed this with English dubbing, which I hate. I changed it to Italian with English subtitles and began to like it. The teaser blurb said it was about alternate scenarios, but even knowing that, the flipping back and forth between the two scenarios was a bit too subtle at times to keep track of the two sets of couples, for me at least. But not a dealbreaker! I love the idea, different enough from "Sliding Doors" and anything else to be interesting and I think very well done. The film is able to showcase romance and relationships in a sophisticated way, and with very likeable actors, and a chance to see Italian culture, and Rome! Bravo!
