      Critics Consensus

Though Fracture's plot is somewhat implausible, the onscreen face-off between Gosling and Hopkins overshadows any faults.

James L Outstanding and brutal story of a husband who plans and executes the perfect murder of his wife. An "open and shut case" since the husband signs a confession. But the plot thickens as the sociopathic Ted Crawford, played by Anthony Hopkins, turns the tides on the courts and a junior Assistant DA, Willie Beacham, played by Ryan Gosling. Grab some popcorn 🍿 and sit back and enjoy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/24/24 Full Review Matt M A brilliant twisty and tense storyline. Hopkins undertakes the role of Ted very fittingly. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/02/24 Full Review Johannes S The story is gripping and has great twists. On top of that, Gosling and Hopkins deliver top-notch performances. I very much enjoyed this thriller.
