I have seen Barbara Albert's Free Radicals three times now and could surely watch it 10 times more, finding something else on each visit to salve the soul. Go to Full Review

Brims with energy, carefully drawn characters and fine acting, and sad-eyed Deborah Ten Brink, as Manu's daughter, is a scene-stealer. Go to Full Review

Deftly intercutting between several tenuously-connected lives, Barbara Albert's astringent drama is transformed by bright flashes of compassion. Go to Full Review

01/16/2018 Good depiction of modern life. See more 11/02/2013 this is a pic that asks for repeat viewing See more 06/20/2011 I don't understand how any critic could watch this and give it a fresh rating. I rather watch free willy three times in a row than get through this one all the way. See more 07/06/2009 An awesome, awesome movie. Intelligent, touching, bold. A veritable slice of (many) lives. See more 06/03/2008 not what i expected. the acting was acceptable, but the storyline left something to be desired. See more 02/05/2008 Interesting and unique film guided by the inspired and skillful direction of Barbara Albert. Despite the beauty of the film and the complex and well developed characters, I couldn't help but feel depressed at the end of the movie. Death is such a heavy and mysterious subject matter--that few if any of us can really understand or cope with. I know some much was going on throughout the movie that connecting all the dots will take multiple viewings. Either way, I suppose that the bottom line is: in death and tragedy one can still find beauty. See more Read all reviews
