Early in the 21st century, technological advances have made it possible for aging, wealthy people to pay crooks like Vacendak (Mick Jagger) to go back in time, kidnap young victims like race car driver Alex Furlong (Emilio Estevez) and deliver them to the elderly clients, who then have their brains transplanted into the healthy bodies. Apart from mick jaggers awful action this was an enjoyable 1hr 45 mins. Not saying it's perfect, far from it but it was a film that I can put on when needing to fill some time to have on in the back ground, 3/5

Unless its based on a true story, 80s movies should be made in the 1980s; not in the second decade of the 21st century. Don't downgrade to the 1980s. It doesn't work. You're just 30+ years late.

Terrible, cheap-looking sci-fi action flick with a hilarious take on what 2009 NYC would look like - attire that's either "hobo chic" or "Spaceballs storm trooper," cars that resemble 1980s bullpen carts. I remember this came out right after "Silence of the Lambs," so Anthony Hopkins was very prominent in the ads. Turns out this was a quick paycheck for him, as he's barely in this until the last act.
