McDermott does his best to make Robert a fearless, wisecracking smart-ass in the early Bruce Willis mold, but he's defeated by a script so dopey that its best stab at a witticism is "Baby, I wouldn't give you the ice off my eyebrows."

OUCH! First of all, water vapor is visible when you breathe in a frozen environment. The Director never cared about this detail, or a hundred others when producing this nugget of malarkey. Disappointing film-making and confusing plotting kill this one.

For a low-budget thriller it's watchable, but with almost the whole film in a single claustrophobic set there's little scope beyond the mystery of the situation to thrill the audience.
