Audience Member I watched this completely by accident at the film festival here - it's Susanne Bier's first film and I thought I should go watch it since I've pretty much loved almost every Bier film. Bier is like good wine though - matures with time. Her first film is rather experimental, but I have to say you see how great the direction is. The characters are realistic and developed and you sympathize with them. The performances are wonderful - especially by Ghita Norby. A family tragedy presented from different points of view. Often sad, often hilarious, often crazy. Not an amazing film, but worth giving a shot if you've loved Bier. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews
