The former theatre critic in me had to agree with the consensus that Frozen on stage mainly pads out the story of princesses Anna and Elsa, rather than expands on it. But it was fun to watch a twist on a familiar favourite.

I remember watching this when I went to the Theatre Royal Druary Lane in London a few years ago and Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical still provided the same charm that I felt at the time. Overall, it is a fun musical that I am sure all families will be entertained with its score and Samantha Barks as Elsa and the cast shined on stage.

I’m a MASSIVE Frozen fan and this was absolutely spectacular! I thought the writing was absolutely brilliant and the pacing and emotion and characters all were so well done! The cast was also phenomenal! I was mad that they cut part of “What do you know about Love?” And that they cut the entirety of “True Love” which is one of my favorite songs in the whole show, but other than that, no complaints! We watched the dress transformation three times before continuing on to act two 😂❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

This broadway adaptation was OK, but the camera work felt like amateurs were doing it at times. The singing wasn’t the best in the world, but it was decent. Some of the props were amazing (like Olaf), and some were horrible in my opinion (like Sven). There were lots of new songs, most of them just felt like they were squeezed into the show, but some of them felt like they should’ve been in the original movie. The lighting was phenomenal, but that isn’t what makes a Broadway production. Overall, this broadway show on Disney+ was extremely middle of the ground, which is why I rated it being not recommendable. The original movie was much better.
