Justin T Certainly better than the first film in the series but also not especially good. I think that most of the blame lays on this era of filmmaking, across the board a weak decade for films. Having said that there is much more story and action in this film than the previous, it's wholly predictable and silly with prototype weapons being invented to solve every problem and pad the runtime. I prefer these films are in colour and this one is. The city smashing is always fun but why are dams, castles and docks the main target for kaiju?
