Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A well thought out plot and depth characters that go one this journey in going against the norm to follow the heart does so with such grace using personal issues and desires as conflict and using the character chemistry be the resolution. All and all this DCOMs complexities and intricate script is what makes it a favorite. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Second best Disney Channel original movie, only topped by Let It Shine. This is actually a really good movie. Even if you don't lower your standards because it's a Disney Channel original movie, it is still a really good film. The plot is actually pretty good. The cast is good. Every actor perfectly fit their characters. The acting is good. This is the movie that introduced me to and made me love Sarah Hyland. She was great in this movie. The character development in this movie is really great and some of the character motivations are great. Props to everyone who was involved with the production of this film. It seems that a lot of effort was put into this movie. Way better than those overrated Teen Beach movies. I like this movie! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Totally thought the principal was the skinny white guy for the entire movie, until the very end. Totally unexpected plot twist. Would have been better if Mr. Bean had played the white girl, but you can't have it all. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Emily Ashby Common Sense Media Geek Charming is very sweet, a little sappy, and superbly crafted. Rated: 5/5 Sep 12, 2019 Full Review James Plath Movie Metropolis Call it a clichd film about high school and its stereotypes that has better acting and a stronger emotional core than most of its kind.
