Udita Jhunjhunwala Livemint Deol is sincere and still evokes whistles when he lets loose his right hook. Fans of the Deol brand of action won't be disappointed. Aug 15, 2019 Full Review Namrata Joshi The Hindu Ghayal Once Again is very old fashioned, rough hewn and klunky. Everything -right from acting to action - is high strung. But it remains curiously engaging till the end. Jan 2, 2019 Full Review Anupama Chopra Hindustan Times It's an old-fashioned fight between good and evil but what makes it gripping is the determination and earnestness that Sunny Deol brings to it. Rated: 3/5 Jan 9, 2017 Full Review Anna M.M. Vetticad Firstpost ...the film's well-executed chases are dragged down by its stupid improbabilities, its lack of focus, too many loose ends and oh yes, those bad white extras. May 9, 2019 Full Review Rahul Desai CatchNews Ghayal Once Again isn't simply Ghayal all over again. Amidst its goofy modernisations of lawlessness, there's an embattled Ajay Mehra - who is now more Batman than Salman. Rated: 3/5 Feb 7, 2019 Full Review Sukanya Verma Rediff.com Loosely reminiscent of True Lies, the climatic action is a dampener. Overdone in tacky CGI, its intended heft is lost in wishy-washy virtue and unconvincing sentimentality. Rated: 2/5 Dec 12, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member The problem with Ghayal--once again is that it is a movie of substitutions. Sophistication has been substituted with restraint. Urgency has been substituted with lethargic anxiety. Emotions have been substituted with reluctance. Cinematography has been substituted with technological gibber. Suspense has been substituted with nonsense. Exuberance has been substituted with a stupid song sequence. In the end, it turns out to be a potboiler where a shell-cracked egg has been boiled and the albumin comes jutting out of various places in the form of ugly sputters and the whole irregular blob thus formed turns out to be a connoisseurs' despise. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Missed Raj Kumar Santoshi's direction. Needed more emotion impact to be a Ghayal Sequel Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Maybe more like a 2.75/5. I admit this wasn't as easy as Don 2 (2011) was to jump into without seeing the first movie, but I did like it. I'll probably get around to seeing Ghayal (1990) eventually I'm sure Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing Movie!!! Great Story... just loved it !!!!!!
