jacob b Has some funny moments, it felt nice to see this duo again after Anthony's departure back in 2017, so seeing this in 2021 felt like a nice trip down memory lane and T-Pain's alright, if sadly nowhere near as prominent as Smosh's advertising for the film would have you believe but Ghostmates is mostly a predictable, bland comedy whose plot even lampshades how it could've found different solutions to the main conflict of the film. By no means remarkably awful and it's probably because I was still a Smosh fan that I liked their 2015 film but on the whole, Ghostmates doesn't do much to help the reputation of movies starring YouTubers being inflicted with an even bigger curse than video game movies. Hey, why do you think these people, who aren't professional Hollywood actors FYI, tend to stick only to voice-work and/or cameos in mainstream media?
