You're in the future and there's computers and Afghanistan and it's all just a dream / simulation. What's bizarre is that money was clearly spent on the futuristic ending and it's just hard to see why. There are very few good war based ghost movies and I would have happily watched it all play out in the era and maybe have just one of the team survive. Once over that, they've settled into their haunted abode, and it just becomes like most generic haunted house tales. The final 20 minutes somewhat justifies the aforementioned faults, I see what they were going for, but it could have been better conveyed. Ghosts of War vermischt übernatürlichen Horror mit historisches Kriegsdrama, mit einem wahnsinnig verworrenen Ende. Ich habe diesen Film wirklich genossen, auch wenn er nur überdurchschnittlich ist.
