In early 19th-century Canada, orphaned sisters Ginger (Katharine Isabelle) and Brigitte (Emily Perkins) find themselves lost in a forest while riding on horseback. They're rescued by The Hunter (Nathaniel Arcand), a mysterious Native American who takes them back to Fort Bailey. Something strange has happened there, however. The few settlers who remain are suspicious of outsiders and keep tight-lipped about the situation, but Ginger soon discovers their secret for herself.

I'm a huge fan of the first two movies, so I really wanted to like this flick. However... it isn't good. You should only bother with this movie just to say you've seen all three flicks in the series. The storyline is confusing at best, and there's a number of times where the characters use modern day lingo making the whole thing feel more like a fever dream than... whatever this is supposed to be.

La plupart du film reprend clairement et sans originalité les grandes lignes du premier film avec un décor et des personnages différents. Cependant, la finalité et le contexte, qui est celui de la colonisation, offre de la nouveauté. Cela est aussi déplorable que la plupart des personnages soient complétement inintéressant. Le film reste malgré tout un bon divertissement agréable à voir.
