Ofcourse it has the typical romance style and all the cheesy songs and other stuff in it. But its one of those movies where the setting and backdrop plays a main role in making the audience enjoy the overall story. The best part of the movie for me was that it didnt have any unnecessary super emotional parts that almost every other movie I see has. It was a very joy filled and relaxing watch. The direction was a bit lacking though.. many scenes just jumped from one part to another with no explanation (not even a fade out!) somethings were plain dumb and lacked explanations. The characters seem to be a bit to sinusoidal in their behaviour.. dont know if thats how they wanted it to look or it was bad acting. As lacking as it was in technical and critical aspects..it was, however, quite enjoyable and something that you watch with the family and enjoy and somethign that might make your parents want to go to a bhadrachalam trip (it made mine :P ) But I doubt that kanikala bharani will be my host and if the one way trip is as ridiculously long as shown in the movie (6 days?) no one will want to go.. no matter how good the boats are :P See more 01/18/2009 My first Telugu movie.
