What to Know

Critics Consensus

Deploying sledgehammer theatrics instead of delivering its message with a dose of good faith, God's Not Dead makes for bad drama and an unconvincing argument to the unconverted.

Seth V This movie has been on my list to watch for a while. Now that I have seen it, yes it is cheesy at times, but overall I loved it. A lit of people in reviews complain about the use of science, but actually in the setting they're in, that was a smart move. Science is just our knowledge and study of God's creations. Life is a fine line, everyone must find they're balance, else they loose focus and fall. Trust in the Lord and you will find balance. Read Ecclesiastes 3:1 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/25 Full Review Daniel L Good movie! Don't let the atheist reviewers fool you. There was no absoluteism until I came to read these reviews. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/25 Full Review Sad_sally 8 So, this was insufferable. I tried to view with an open mind and the corny cheese, terrible quality got to me too much. Its like an amalgamation of a hallmark movie and an awful fan made YouTube movie. So, if you're a fan of Christian movies, does that mean you completely forsake all quality just because there's some shlocky heavy handed message? I see all the positive reviews, and I assume that's it. That, I do not get at all. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/26/24 Full Review Tobias B This is a joke right? Someone made this ironically? Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/15/24 Full Review Mark A counterpoint ... god never lived Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/14/24 Full Review Sharen M Wonderfully entertaining and thought provoking!
