Witney Seibold Nerdist This is the best of the Millennium films, and may be the only one to establish a continuity. May 23, 2019 Full Review Bob Chipman Escapist Magazine It's not the best Godzilla ever, but I still wish this version had taken off beyond one sequel. May 23, 2019 Full Review Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy A serviceable movie, but overall not a very fun one. Rated: 5/10 May 3, 2014 Full Review Jerry Renshaw Reel.com Everyone loves a good rasslin' match between giant monsters, and that's something that this updated, modernized, new and improved Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla certainly delivers. Justin This was pure monster movie fun! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/03/23 Full Review Conor S I liked the story, kaijus, and characters, it’s a great film, I just wish there was more to the film because it’s 1 Hour and 28 Minutes but it’s still good. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/09/25 Full Review Laura B Godzilla X Mechagodzilla is not only a good Godzilla film, but a good film in general. The human scenes are not only interesting, but well acted and written. And, of course, the special effects are fantastic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/08/25 Full Review ARBAAZ84 A Only big bad thing,is that, it's too short and it is literally the shortest MOVIE IN THE ENTIRE GODZILLA FRANCHISE Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/29/24 Full Review Justin T This is easily my favourite of the era so far. It has a more serious tone than the previous film. What a tonally inconsistent franchise! Also it seems to be yet another re-sequel starting the sequels again ignoring all previous films except the original 1954 one. I really enjoyed the human story and there was lots of monster action and city smashing. Godzilla looks the best he has ever looked, really great creature design. The special effects were good too, mostly. This is up there and nearly as good as Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995), Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla (1994) and Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/10/24 Full Review josh d An okay Godzilla movie Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/09/24 Full Review Read all reviews
