If it’s ultimately a less ingenious entertainment than 2016’s “Shin Godzilla”, it’s still preposterously satisfying, never more so than in a climax whose choreography suggests a child playing with their entire toy collection at bath time.

KING GOJIRA! Loved to see Godzilla again as a true monster. Great score and great characters that you are rooting for every step of the way. I loved the historical aspects of WWII from the Japanese perspective too which you don’t see a lot.
