It's a guy in a monster suit. Gotta love it! Go to Full Review

Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla is fun and crazy, although the battle goes on for perhaps too long. Go to Full Review
Leo Goldsmith Not Coming to a Theater Near You 05/21/2019
While there is an overall lack of excitement... the film nonetheless delivers on anonymous citizens fleeing in terror, roaring beasts blasting and beating the hell out of each other, and iconic landmarks and urban infrastructure being utterly devastated. Go to Full Review

The scattershot narrative and frequently bargain-basement special effects need a lot more than one great and one satisfactory monster suit. Go to Full Review

Ilyas Z @Zellai Nov 24 It's Not Bad At All. It's One Of My Favorite Godzilla And Heisei Films Of All Time. See more Vincent W @Gojirilla5419 Sep 19 A fun, goofy time. And that’s all GvSg is trying to be. See more Khaliel P Aug 23 As the Heisei era draws to a close, Toho introduces Space Godzilla, born from Godzilla’s cells transported into space and absorbed by a black hole, creating a half-Godzilla, half-crystal monster. The G-Force builds a new robot, Moguera, to amplify Miki Saegusa’s psychic powers and fight Space Godzilla, while Minilla returns with a design inconsistently swinging between past versions. The plot is chaotic and difficult to follow: Space Godzilla’s origin is unbelievable, Miki only serves to operate Moguera, and pointless subplots—romance, Yuki Akira’s obsession with a single bullet, and the inexplicable Yakuza—clutter the story. Action sequences are scarce and poorly staged, and the final battle between Godzilla, Space Godzilla, and Moguera fails to engage. Attempting seriousness, the film falls into absurdity, representing a clear decline in quality and coherence compared to previous Heisei-era entries. See more Conor S May 19 The film is good, the Godzilla design is great, Godzilla junior is cute, and SpaceGodzilla is awesome!! See more Justin T 07/11/2024 This is quite possibly my favourite so far. There is lots of kaiju action and it has really cool action too. The old-school practical effects are awesome and make this so cool, I could see how they would benefit from modern compositing techniques though. The non-kaiju story is engaging. SpaceGodzilla is so awesome, probably beats Gigan in terms of coolness, he is just an unstoppable force. He’s not big enough to get Godzilla’s head in his mouth though so Biollante wins that one. This is becoming my favourite era although I am only comparing it to the previous and first Godzilla era at the moment. See more josh d 06/09/2024 Not perfect, but a good villain.
