Simple yet deep, ranchy yet tastful. Resonates with desire. Performed to perfection by the two protagonists, a look into the feelings of shame and taboo of sex and male sex work. It looks into the physical and phycological needs of being human. It is outstanding.

This film could have gone so badly wrong. It didn't . This is the first film to surprise me in 20 years. It is both slight and deep, funny and sad, but intensely human. Thank you. The only nudity in this film is psychological. Emma Thompson is perfect. Daryl McCormack is bound to succeed.

From a slightly implausible scenario, the film develops into a touching and open exploration of sexual need and fulfillment. It's not often I describe a film as "beautiful" but this one deserves it. The leads are marvellous, with Emma Thompson displaying why she is one of the premier actors in the world. Watch it and enjoy the ride!
