Todd R Who ever wrote this movie must be a pretty cool dude. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Taahir S As an intense movie lover I must show much appreciation for this film which has a captivating plot and timeline. Shocks and suprises as the we are challenged with raw realistic attitudes that strangers might show one anothwr under the circumstances. Awesome film! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/01/23 Full Review ronald h A generous two stars for a micro-budget indie film that tries but doesn't quite succeed, due to poorly written dialogue, amateurish acting, and cinematography that wants to be brooding and scary but is basically just dark to the point of viewer eye strain. I'm sure it's all well intentioned. But the lack of professionalism permeates everything. The closest thing to a pro actor is Pamela Jayne Morgan, who has never been in a major film but at least has some experience. She does her best. Dawn, a middle-aged moving van driver (Morgan) pulls into a state park one night to catch some Z's. She is accosted by Phoebe, a young woman (Juliette Alice Gobin) who claims that she has been imprisoned in a trailer by a psycho and has managed to escape. The psycho is looking for her. For reasons that don't really make any sense, the two women end up in the back of the moving van, hiding until daylight. I apparently missed the reason they can't use Dawn's cell phone and how the truck keys disappear, and that's part of the problem: Important story details are shot too quickly and not clarified. That includes the flashback that recounts what happened to Phoebe. It's choppy and confusing. The events are cleared up at the end with a requisite expository scene, but I still had questions. You will, too. There is also an extended sequence with two punks (ineptly played by Rafe Soule and Jake Laurence) who hassle and humiliate Dawn while Phoebe cowers in the truck. The scene contributes nothing to the story but pads the movie with an extraneous 15 minutes. There is a decent twist two thirds of the way through. Of course, the bad guy eventually appears. And the action ramps up in the last 20 minutes. I'm a defender of indie films. This one has its shortcomings, but I'll give it a B minus for effort. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Too much of the action and dialogue is outside the realm of reality/common sense. Two leading actresses get a C+. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Clearly the producers of the movie asked all their friends and family to leave fake reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. Absolutely terrible movie, save your money and time! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member The other reviews for this movie were obviously fake. I guess RT doesn't verify anything anymore. This movie was made by someone who has never been told no. It is so bad. It doesn't make any sense. The acting is horrible. And literally nothing happens for the entirety of the film. It is not worth the $3.99 amazon rental. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
