Upset about moving from the big city to a small town, young Zach Cooper (Dylan Minnette) finds a silver lining when he meets his beautiful neighbor Hannah (Odeya Rush). The teen is surprised to learn that Hannah's mysterious father is R.L. Stine (Jack Black), the famous author of the best-selling "Goosebumps" series. When Zach accidentally unleashes the monsters from the fantastic tales, it's up to Stine, his daughter and Cooper to return the beasts back to the books where they belong.

An amusing, if overstuffed adaptation of classic R.L. Stine tales. As the children's author, Black is solid and so is the FX, though the shrieking best friend performance by Ryan Lee quickly becomes grating and Hannah's resolution is wonky at best.

I Like the movie, it is very well directed and amazing acting but The only problem is that it is more comedic then scary, and goosebumps is a mixture of horror and comedy, not saying I hate it, it just didn't really feel scary in anyway, Great Movie! 9/10
