Aaron G May 13 A fun and engaging watch! The blood effects add to the wild energy, even if they go a little overboard at times. It would’ve been great to see more of the main character’s slacker friends — they had a lot of potential to bring even more humor and heart to the story. See more 06/16/2013 Okay, so I actually really enjoyed The Greenskeeper. Both funny and brutal as hell, it is a pretty solid slasher flick for fans who have seen everything else. It does not take itself too seriously, but it also doesn't devolve into horror-comedy crap. It is a slasher film first with some comedic elements. Featuring tons of original, golf-related death scenes and characters that are even more over-the-top stupid and outrageous than usual. See more don s 02/16/2013 Another low-budget horror movie, I bought a DVD of 20 for $5, with the requisite poor acting and hackneyed plot (Assistant greenskeeper invites friends for a country club birthday party. A killer dressed as a greenskeeper crashes the party and kills people with golf tools). The effects aren't horrible though some are less believable then others.
