Joe Leydon Variety An undemandingly pleasant coming-of-age dramedy. Sep 18, 2008 Full Review Lou Lumenick New York Post An often charming romantic drama that outstays its welcome at nearly two hours. Rated: 2/4 Sep 12, 2008 Full Review Neil Genzlinger New York Times That's harmless enough in this type of warm-weather reminiscence, until Mr. Sorvino, a real actor and a good one, shows up...and he makes Ms. Shaw and some of the other cast members look like amateurs. Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 12, 2008 Full Review Martin Tsai New York Sun As “Greetings” becomes increasingly reductive, predictable, and detached from reality, one begins to wish it will end before it self-destructs entirely. Apr 22, 2023 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Captivating, uplifting and even somewhat engrossing Rated: 7.45/10 Sep 23, 2013 Full Review Andrew L. Urban Urban Cinefile There's a sweet tone throughout Greetings that endears us to the story and especially to Kim Shaw as the pretty Jenny, who has a promise to Jun 19, 2009 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member A pleasant summer romance and drama on the Jersey shore in Lavallette. Well-acted, and the story was interesting, if not compelling. Best line: "It's good to stay in the shadows, but sometimes you have to step out of the shadows." Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member A fairly good film, though there were random moments of cheesiness (probably a combination of how the script was written and the acting performance). The cast works well together throughout all of the occasions that occur in the film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member yes it's cliche-ridden and a bit hokey, but this film had a charm to it that drew me in. Probably had something to do with the actress that played Jenny and the relationships she developed with the other characters. and i guess i always love seeing the working class triumph over the silver-spoon class ala "Summer Rental", "One Crazy Summer" and the classic "Caddyshack". But this one is more heartfelt and less comedic. still a treat to watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Hokey and kinda dumb, but it had a predictable yet sweet ending. Nobody super hot in this one though. :( Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I like this movie, very heart felt, good story and wasn't disappoint at all. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Charming romance movie that pulls at your heart strings. We've all been where Jenny is... trying to find our place in the world. We have all had promises we wished to keep no matter what the cost and we have all had to struggle to get where we wanted in life. This movie is about how to overcoming it. The acting in this movie was superb. The script was a little touch and go in some places but overall the journey is worth the road you travel, A must see for romantics and lovers of romance movies.
