See more 03/21/2012 This is a deeply disturbing and twisted movie about a man who documents his violent crimes against women. The title pretty much sums up the movie, it is a diary of a madman. I honestly don't care for these kinds of movies, I don't mind violence and gore as long as there is a strong plot to keep me interested...which this doesn't have. It's basically the ramblings of a psycho with delusions of grandeur as he abducts, sexually assaults, and butchers women off the street. In my opinion this film has no redeeming value See more 12/21/2011 This film combines a serial killer with torture porn quite effectively and is a decent watch until the last portion of the film which attempts to give the killer a Hannibal Lecter intelligence which clearly wasn't present throughout the entire film up to that point. It leaves the film without the clever ending needed to make it more than a misogynistic exploitation film. Really just a horror, not too badly shot, with the pretentiousness of introspection in the form of the main character's dialogue. Annoying twist at the end lightens the tone of the movie.
