Synopsis
In a Bombay mill the industrious young union leader, Ram, falls in love with the new owner, Sita, and marries her. Ram has been a diligent union boss, working successfully to improve conditions for the workers. After his marriage to the owner, conflicts begin to arise between management and the workforce, and Ram is forced to choose between his love and his honour.
