Audience Member This was a surprisingly well made movie for The Asylum. I mean they don't have a lot of likeable characters with the most interesting of the bunch being the two title characters. We also are not bombarded with shitty CGI effects and in fact they use a lot of practical effects. They got some stuff that was pretty shitty like the ending which was mostly bad. This movie was pretty well made it isnt one of the best movies ive seen but it was pretty decent. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Really ... what did you expect? You watch a film called HANSEL VS. GRETEL by The Asylum and then rate it one star for being bad? I knew what kind of film I was watching and I feel it delivered on most levels. It was campy, schlocky fun with a goofy premise, pretty good visual effects, and a couple of surprisingly solid performances by Lili Baross and Brent Lydic. It's not THE GODFATHER but it never tries to be. If you think you might like a movie about Hansel fighting Gretel and cannibal witches getting stabbed in the face, this just might be for you.
