Raj (Salman Khan) is a struggling singer chasing his dreams in Mumbai, India. One night, he rescues a girl, Pooja (Rani Mukerji), from a car accident and takes her to the hospital. As she lies in a coma, her wealthy family assume that Raj is the man with whom their daughter eloped. Sensing opportunity, he assumes this new identity. When Pooja's best friend, Jahnvi (Preity Zinta), shows up, however, Raj starts to like her. After Pooja wakes up and falls for Raj, a tricky love triangle occurs.

Zinta & Mukherjee light the screen together ... and thats the best part of the flick ... See more 03/03/2011 HAR DIL JO PYAR KAREGA (2000) - this is in essence the Hindi version of "While You Were Sleeping" with Salman Khan in the Sandra Bullock role. Only watched this because SRK has a cameo. Egads - I'm such a devoted fan to sit through the rest of the drecky movie to see my hero - even for a minute of screentime. Honestly - Salman (the Hindi equivalent of Matthew "can't keep a shirt on" McConaughey) couldn't act his way out of a paper bag in this movie. See more 02/04/2010 wanna see it , right @mishal?
