An adolescent girl lives in Oslo with her single mother, estranged from her biological father who has a different family. After an earthshaking event they all have to reconsider their mutual relationships. The girl, influenced by Japanese manga novels, wants to retreat to the trendy Tokyo neighborhood of the title.
