VIP Bank Manager Sung-Gyu drives his daughter and son to school one morning. Along the way, a phone rings from the glove-box. It's an anonymous caller claiming there's a bomb under Sung-gyu's seat and if anyone exits the car, it will explode unless Sung-gyu can pay a ransom. What at first feels like a prank call quickly turns into an edge-of-your-seat thriller. Sung-gyu must simultaneously ensure the safety of his children, find enough money to pay the ransom, and evade the police, all while trying to figure out what he did in his past to deserve this.

Jae-Ha Kim Jae-Ha Kim “Hard Hit” is “Speed,” except instead of being set on a bus that might explode in Los Angeles, the action takes place in a car that might explode in Busan. Rated: 2/4 Jul 27, 2023 Full Review José Roberto Landaverde Cine Premiere Hard Hit is too generic at heart... but its technical prowess and sensitivity in managing emotions save it from disaster. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 4/5 Oct 31, 2022 Full Review Hernán Ferreirós La Nación (Argentina) Hard Hit boasts superbly edited, polished action scenes; however, the protagonist's decisions aren't logical. And its resolution is forced... [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3/5 Oct 28, 2022 Full Review Ezequiel Boetti Otroscines.com Merely, a film sustained by a premise whose simplicity is directly proportional to the implausibility of its script. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 26, 2022 Full Review Nathaniel Muir AIPT Throwback to 1990s action movies that is filled with intense action and interesting characters. Gets a little melodramatic towards the end before it manages to get back on track. Feb 26, 2022 Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee It's a fast-paced story that mostly outruns its gaps in logic, with some well-executed car chases and sustained tension. danilo s Um Remake satisfatório com uma dramacidade e boas cenas de ação. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/02/24 Full Review Kylie Y Your average typical Korean movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/15/23 Full Review Audience Member SK action thrillers are just damn good. Action thriller junkies won't be disappointed Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Great action movie! The deep and powerfull voice of the mystery "caller" belongs to Ji Chang-Wook. This movie need to be watch with the original Korean language, not subbed into a another language because that take away the unique and important part, which is the callers voice. Use subtitles instead. I loved this movie and will highly recommend it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Best action movie I've seen in a long, long time.
