Jason G It’s pretty wild how two of the reviews totally missed the point of the film, and I guess by proxy that means the film sucked
or the reviewers didn’t pay attention. Diablo didn’t get in the car. She put him there to then torture him with these Saw-like traps. Decent concept except we’ve seen it before and the editing and flashbacks are incoherent. Then the movie randomly gets away from the Saw theme with the most predictable bad guy gets the leverage turn ever. My favorite part: they literally try to set this up for a sequel. Things nobody ever asked for. There was a good concept somewhere here, but this film is brutal. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review Mathew G These film producers must think we are stupid. The woman injects the attacker and he collapsed onto the road. Then later when she is back home low and behold the attacker is getting out of the trunk. How can you not see that. Cheap rubbish movie. And what's the thing with the nosey Neighbour lady nothing to do with the story. I think she was originally the cast tea lady and the director thought he would throw her in as a treat đŸ€” Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/05/24 Full Review Jay E Just watched this on a whim because I like the cast. There's a cool high-concept idea buried in here, but you can almost see exactly where it didn't translate to the screen. For example: She's trying to get him to solve a series of puzzles, but it totally cuts what he does to solve them, and then it breezes past all the plot points with the trap rooms. Why? Wasn't that the whole premise of using the smart home? And then you get the same flashback of the killer's past over and over. Again, why? We got it the first time. And the second. And the third. The movie doesn't give the viewer enough credit and spoonfeeds the information instead. The parts that really worked were the paralysis drug: how she uses it to catch him, how she builds up a tolerance, the slow chase through the house, etc. Unfortunately everything else is marred by weird cuts and too many flashbacks, and it ends up being another mediocre thriller. The lead actors were pretty good though. Maybe a director's cut would fix it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/10/24 Full Review Joshua P This is quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen, and I’m somewhat of a hobbyist when it comes to bad movies. The acting is horrendous, and the story is worse. I had to rewind twice to make sure I hadn’t missed something. Also, please tell me how a drugged man got into the back of her SUV inconspicuously in less than 6-7 seconds. He couldn’t attack her but was able to get up and crawl into the back of an SUV without being noticed? All in a few seconds? And then he resisted the urge to attack her on the route home? This is like a high school film project with a bigger budget. Please don’t spend money on this, it’s criminal and you are being robbed. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/29/24 Full Review Dave G Very slow moving and to me just hard to follow for present to past. Just a stupid movie.
