tony z No worse than similar of same genre - e,g. deathwish, as long as you turn your brain off. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/06/19 Full Review Audience Member Bland procedural. The voiceover is corny as hell and so are a lot of things happening here. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Awful awful awful. Not at all realistic or nice to watch particularly if your born and bred in the north east . Hang your heads in shame actors and film producers alike. It's a bad job. Obviously just making a bit money in between other acting jobs Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This had all the makings of a quality British crime thriller. A Hardnosed cop comes back from Hong Kong carrying some demons. His former manor is now infested with scum and it is up to him exterminate the filth. Tompkinson is great as Harrigan but he is let down by a really shit storyline. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member OK. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Gritty revenge in the decaying north. Andrew Osmond Empire Magazine Gloomily compelling. Rated: 3/5 Sep 20, 2013 Full Review Charlotte O'Sullivan London Evening Standard The whole thing is about as appetising as a stale jammy dodger but someone, somewhere, will gobble it up. Rated: 1/5 Sep 20, 2013 Full Review Steve Rose Guardian You can guess what you're in for here even before the prologue text has ended. Rated: 2/5 Sep 19, 2013 Full Review Daniel Green CineVue [Creates] a northern dystopia rife with criminality and racial distrust. Unfortunately, such world-building exercises often require a certain level of funding, and there's something undeniably televisual about proceedings. Rated: 2/5 Mar 2, 2019 Full Review Allan Hunter Daily Express (UK) There are few surprises in this clich-ridden plucky effort that may have been better as a TV production. Rated: 2/5 Sep 20, 2013 Full Review Paul M. Bradshaw Total Film The Bill meets Byker Grove. Rated: 2/5 Sep 15, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews
