Khaliel P This is the second time someone’s tried to adapt Hellboy after Del Toro — and the second time the franchise completely crashes and burns. After the first couple of minutes with the spider and train it was just dead! Witches...boring witches that need to see a chiropractor and an old man who should do the same. Hellboy was basically af not the strong jawlined, larger than life, cigar smoking guy I'm used to. Just finished the 2019 film then watched this travesty. I went to review the ratings halfway through because I was sooo bored! I can usually deal with a slow burn if the storyline is intriguing. It was supposed to be a horror film then why was I bleary eyed and yawning the whole time. Your life and time are worth so much more than this boring movie. Rated 3/5 Stars •  Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/06/25 Full Review lillynia B It was abit confusing,i think because of the old hellboy movies with Ron perlman I think we are still stuck on that plot,but this series was well made with the SFX to the angles of the camera made it seem it was really well thought of, Which i really appreciate,and the fact they didn't make hellboy look like a monster and more handsome like in the old movie's,and the actor who played hellboy embodied the character just like Ron perlman which is so amazing and refreshing,since the hellboy movie with David harbour.I do have to say the music in it was good,made it more scary,it made it more fun, exciting too watch, and was on the edge of my seat watching it ,and I would say I will watch it again.
