Which is exactly $5.98 more than it was worth. It was not scary, it was not funny, it was a complete mess. When the preacher got his eyes picked out by the crows, I began to pray fervently that a crow would pick my own eyes out, so I would not have to finish watching this horrendous, terrible pig-slop of a film. A ideia de ser focado mais no terror, é sim muito boa. Realmente é bem interessante a ideia, pois combinaria perfeitamente com o que é o personagem.. pena que foi extremamente mal explorado. História inteiramente fraca, desinteressante, com personagens totalmente esquecíveis, e com um péssimo vilão. O filme se perde um pouco sobre o que eles querem mostrar e explorar de seus personagens, até mesmo na personalidade de Hellboy que as vezes parece ser alternada em muitos momentos. A direção feita por Brian Taylor é mais do mesmo, sem muita criatividade (assim como o filme), a fotografia é bem, bem feia. De longe as coisas que mais me agradaram foram: O visual do Hellboy que eu achei muito bom, muito fiel ao original, a atuação de Jack Kesy que manda bem no papel, eu realmente achei esse Hellboy bem legal. Me agradou bem mais do que a versão de 2019. Poderia ser bem mais, um verdadeiro potencial desperdiçado. First of all disappointed with the lighting and sound effect i dont know it make the movie should not launch on 2024 ... To dark and sound effect sometimes make u annoying... Second, for the story plot ... I dont know what kind of plot bcs we know hellboy 1 and 2 based on mythologycal things and what so on and on hellboy 2 was the stepping stone for the movie which is they show the main character was the king of hell ... But in this movie i dont know they make him looks like sec character ( like he didn't need on this movie ) and also how can suddenly hellboy used to be horror film? So im sorry i watch the movie im disappointed to this film .... This movie was a horror masterpiece and a breath of fresh air for the Hellboy legacy. In my opinion it could easily become a cult classic. It took me back to my teenage years to the first time I'd ever saw Evil Dead. Make no mistake, this was the genius vision behind Hellboy: Crooked Man. Jack Kesy was able to enter this realm of 1959 deep horror and still pay homage to Ron Pearlman's version, although playing a much younger Hellboy. Kesy kept the light-hearted teenage humor of Hellboy intact while doing so. The horror wasn't cheap "jump from your seats" horror. It was stimulating visual horror that true horror fans crave. Things you can only get from movies like the Exorcist or Evil Dead. What some are considering low-budget comes from not understanding the director's vision. The CGI alone proves it wasn't low budget.
