Steve D Shelley Long is wooden and the script is horrible. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Great 80s romcom. A little campy but something light and good to watch if your ever in a dark place. Reminds me of when I grew up in the 80s. Loved this movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty dreadful comedy has Shelley Long as a woman who passes away from choking on a chicken ball and is brought back to life exactly one year later by her sister in some type of incantation at her grave. She eventually becomes a media sensation. The ending scene where she fixes things is so bad it really must be seen. She left Cheers for this? Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A woman resurrects her dead sister; the only rule is she must find true love in a month or sis will croak again. That's the funniest part; sis didn't die of a broken heart she chokes on a chicken ball so why does she need to find true love? Because, this movie must force some kind of reason for her to stay which validates the premise of this comedy is just dumb. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review william s Boy oh boy did Shelly Long misjudge her career path. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Should have been filmed as a Lifetime made-for-Halloween movie. Hal Boedeker Miami Herald Despite its death-defying plot, Hello Again is not a miraculous movie. Rated: 2/4 Aug 17, 2021 Full Review Variety Staff Variety Shelley Long wanders through a script she can't carry by herself while heading a cast handled with less than a Midas touch by director Frank Perry, who seems to think he's staging a high school play. Oct 30, 2007 Full Review Time Out Merely the excuse for a parade of expensive clothes and opulent locations, with Shelley Long milking her role for any drop of pathos, this is good for a giggle at best. Jun 24, 2006 Full Review Rene Jordan El Nuevo Herald (Miami) Converts the improbable into ridiculously unbelievable.
