Patrick Cavanaugh The Wolfman Cometh Falls too closely in line with the installment that came before it, made all the worse by the fact that the series lends itself to reinvention. Ink C I think you had to be a teen in 90's/00's to fully understand what they were going for with this entry and also in order to find enjoyment in it while not a "good" film so to speak it still has entertainment to offer if you were the demographic so it's a product of its time which means its shelf life is limited Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/25/25 Full Review Ash P Ugh, this hurts. Because of all the things within the franchise that have broken my mentality, Hellseeker is certainly the one that has done the job. With what it'd delivered, this is the one that made me legitimately angry. With the previous sequels after three, one of them had the decency to be something different yet failed. The other tried to be a prequel/sequel with an origin yet it was just boring. Thankfully, neither of those had me fuming. Now I get why the Hellraiser franchise had went down at the second half of its sequels. The story takes place on a highway where Trevor Gooden, played by Dean Winters, and his wife, Kristy, played once again after so long ago, Ashley Laurence, got into an accident and dropped into the river. Trevor wakes up one month later, finding out that his wife was missing after trying to save her but failed. Throughout the movie, he tries to find the answer yet freaky things have been popping up. With some deaths popping up left and right while coopeatring with the detective of the police, played by William S. Taylor. Lo and behold, Pinhead, played once again by Doug Bradley, does pop up, expecting payment. That payment comes in play right at the finale and it was what got me to cuss at this movie. Okay, let's talk about the only good thing, because despite how much of a waste it felt, it's Dean Winters and Ashley Laurence. I did not like how you have Kristy come back, all grown up and married, only to be set up as the dead wife. I do give them credit that the memories she and Trevor are as much of a motivator that I can get behind. The ending, unfortunately, is what frustrated me the most with the plot twist. Their acting is the only good part of it right next to Pinhead popping up and Doug Bradley giving his age, he never stops being the Pinhead we know and love. At least he was more utilized unlike the last two movies. Every other character was a waste for their given role and the actors are just as forgettable as they give. The plot twists with each of them are either a bland slate or a frustrating set piece. The effects are not that good with where they were going. Not even the new Cenobites shown were that interesting because the setting is so bleak that they are as forgettable as the human characters. The pleasurable moments that Trevor goes through are just in the way since him finding his wife was more important. Yeah, that's as much as I can say about this one because what I need to seek now is a drink, even though I don't drink anymore. To me, this was not only an insult to the Hellraiser franchise, but to the character who stuck around since the beginning of it all. I'm gonna give Hellseeker two Kristy being gifted by Trevor out of ten. 2/10. I was gonna talk about where the Lament Configuration came from, but at this point, it seems like it'll pop anywhere that it's pointless to ask where the damn puzzle box came from. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/10/25 Full Review Jude H. Hellseeker is a another terrible entry it thinks that making a old character return will make it likable but this is worse than inferno Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/12/25 Full Review thiago s Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas de terror são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/08/25 Full Review Eric G So much wrong here. Most of this film doesn't even make sense. It's not very scary, no cool lines from Pinhead, no interesting characters and no captivating plot. Kirsty returns with a fairly minimal role until the very end. There's some neat looking cenobites who stand around doing literally nothing. There's one plot that ends up being not real and replaced by one that just appears in the end. Then there's the brain surgery scene which is never explained. Nothing creative, a really big disappointment. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/18/25 Full Review Adam B For the few fans of Hellraiser: Inferno, you'll get some enjoyment out of this. For those that didn't, well, this is the same movie essentially minus the cop aspect. While definitely a better movie with its (insultingly low) use of the Kirsty Cotton returning, minus her and the small Pinhead bits it's still very much boring and doesn't appeal to Hellraiser fans at all. And the great acting is truely gone, which was a mainstay in the first 2, if not 4 arguably. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/08/25 Full Review Read all reviews
