There's no excuse for Her Alibi. It inspires oceans of sympathy for Tom Selleck, who seems a nice guy and doesn't deserve to be lumbered by the ineptness of this enterprise. Go to Full Review

He's a mystery writer, she's a mystery; and it's also a mystery how TV fodder like this manages to get the high-gloss, top-talent treatment at studios. Go to Full Review

Aye E Aug 14 As a person with anxiety and an active imagination I relate strongly to the main character. It's a charming and unique romantic comedy with over-the-top silliness. If you are into mystery or crime novels, this is fun and clever send up of some of those cheesy stories. I was hoping this could have sequels, and follow him as he was writing more books. I've loved Paulina since I watched this a kid, and really wanted to live in his house! See more James B @JamesBass Feb 26 You have to watch it for what it is, which is a spoof of Magnum P.I. It’s light hearted and quite funny. If you liked the TV show, you would probably like this movie. I think the bad reviews are due to people having higher expectations.
