A powerful film, mostly for the content and not necessarily for the filmmaking itself. Go to Full Review

Youngelson’s film is not formally spectacular and doesn’t necessarily pack the showiest emotional wallop. But those traits likely make it truer to the lives of these veterans, as full of silent courage as they are of tragedy. Go to Full Review

An eye-opening film about post traumatic stress disorder. It's curable. If you've got PTSD, know anyone suffering from it, or simply want to upgrade your understanding of the affliction that used to be labeled "shell-shocked"—this film is a must-see. Go to Full Review

raymond d Mar 26 I'm glad to see that our veterans are getting the help that they need and for it to show raw footage of what veterans go through on a daily basis when dealing with PTSD. This documentary was put together well and I'm happy to see the veterans who participated are got the help they needed and that they are getting better. I pray to God that anyone that dealing with PTSD calls up for help 🙏🏿 See more Katie H Mar 4 HERE. IS. BETTER. captures the real struggle of multiple situations for men and women struggling with PTSD and receiving treatment. It's very impactful and accurate. See more sam t 06/25/2023 Excellent portrayal of how trauma (PTSD in particular) can affect people's and what can be accomplished with hard work and good treatment. The film's focus is on veterans who are 3 times more likely to suffer from PTSD. We see how it takes courage, good treatment, and support fir people to get better. It's a remarkably intimate view of therapy, the audience has a front seat and we leave feeling hopeful and inspired. See more Read all reviews
