The GREATEST horror film of all time. Yes I said it. Toni Collette was robbed of an Oscar win that year. She and the film shouldve both been nominated, but we know the genre doesnt get proper respect. The full casts acting was outstanding. Great cinematography and score. Blows Rosemarys Baby and The Exorcist out of the water. Ari Astor is a new master of horror. See his film Midsommar as well. Top notch film making.

This just felt like no other horror movie I've seen. At the times things felt a little slow, a big risk was taken. And it paid off. And like, the horror element was so subtle yet really impactful. They didn't make this a massive gore fest filled with jump scares, but instead it was just frightening, tense, and unsettling.
