!!!!!!!! DON'T WATCH THIS FILM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My goal with this review is to save people from making the mistake that I made watching this film. Don't waste your 2+ hours like I did. This movie is incredibly boring and the payoff is garbage. Nothing worth seeing when it comes to this extremely boring pretentious movie.

Other “scary” horror movies like The Conjuring and Insidious are Pixar movies compared to Hereditary. This movie has stunning, incomprehensible acting and horrifying and extremely dark, intense scenes. This movie is so different from every other 2010 horror movie. It is my favorite horror movie and maybe my favorite film in general. I love how complex it is, and I definitely recommend watching it a second time to clear things up. The drama in Hereditary is also one of the scariest things in the movie. I love this movie, but I definitely don’t recommend it for the faint hearted.
