This movie has always had a special place in my heart. Loved seeing it in the theatres as a young kid and still holds up well today. John Ritter plays a struggling actor hired to dress up as Captain Avenger, a comic book hero, for the premiere of the movie. On his way home after the event he foils a robbery while in the garb and quickly becomes news. Ritter is perfect in this role, he's charming and funny and genuinely sweet. Anne Archer costars. This is a feel good movie that does it's job well.

Very warm light hearted comedy that does have some good laughs. The movie has a nice message and does move at a good pace. Overall a very nice surprise and worthy of a watch.
