Predictable, extremely far fetched, very unexplained, but I will say the acting isn’t bad. Literally as the film started and the zoom in of a name appears (you’ll see) with an Intro story, me and my dad said “that’s the killer then yeah?”. Sure enough it was. The characters were a bit stupid on some parts of the film, and the film was just so far fetched at times, such as the hatchet scene near the end (again, you’ll see, laugh and say that’s sort of impossible, literally). The killer was pretty dumb, and a let down. Doing what they do, it gives no explanation why, it says at the start who they are, but that’s about all the information you’ll ever get. The ending as well, like ... spoiler below... actual spoilers ... Are they immortal in this film? Who knew you could survive a hatchet to the stomach, and survive a fight like you just got a kick to the ankle. This film was bad. For this genre, I would say this film did its job pretty well. Decent but generic horror plot, alright characters, and impactful thriller moments. I'd say this was slightly better than the generic horror movie anyone would see, so it was overall solid. Got huge "The Strangers" vibes. Most of the heart-racing moments actually felt impactful because I felt a little more connected to the characters even though they did make some stupid decisions (but that's all horror movies tbh). Even though the runtime was short, the story did feel pretty complete. For any fans of horror/thriller movies, I'd recommend. See more Read all reviews
