Not every frame of He’s Watching works and a lot of the last third feels like a psychedelic trip you didn’t consent to. For the first 80 minutes, I was having a great time with behind-the-shot action and quick cuts designed to keep everyone off balance.

The movie had so much potential, but was all over the place. Sometimes the kids are holding the camera, other times it's just there letting the story unfold. Sometimes the director wants you to get into the story by making it like a found footage with added context, yet they play all kinds of music to influence the atmosphere. The director didn't seem to know what he was actually going for. I'd love to see a blended movie of this and Skinamarink though.

A confused movie with a boring 1st act that leads into an absolutely terrifying 2cd act full of atmosphere, creepy imagery, imagery, and dread, that leads into a confused 3rd act with a twist ending that is clever but somewhat ruins the movie
