Karen O CONTAINS SPOILERS! This movie had great potential. The plot was good, the actors were good. But there are so many plot holes and continuity issues that it drive me nuts. Things like the teenage daughter was 7 years old when her mother ran away from her abusive husband and faked their deaths. Then it jumps to 10 years later, and the mom has changed their identities and names, and somehow the daughter is totally unaware that any of this happened. At 7 years old, she would have remembered. But when the husband found the box in the attic where he discovered they were still alive was ridiculous . There is no way she would have left anything like that behind. Also when the husband offered to give the teenager a ride home from school, it was mid-afternoon. But by the time he drove her to the house, it was full on dark outside. Seriously? Was the school three hours from their house?? C’mon. There are several instances of the day to sudden dark. Also, how could the wife not notice the listening device on her purse? It was so obvious! Why would she haven’t taken those important documents out if the safety deposit box where it was, oh I dunno, SAFE? I rolled my eyes a LOT on this one. Waste of 88 minutes but what the heck. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Audience Member One of the dumbest movies of all time, with a completely implausible script and ending. A big, dumb fireman, who is also an electronic surveillance expert apparently, kills multiple people while tracking down his wife and daughter including himself, yet somehow they get to live happily ever after with nobody questioning their new identities? How do these movies get made? After terrorizing them and their friends for weeks; he suddenly feels remorse and commits suicide? A 9yo could come up with a more plausible script;.
