Craig B Hmm... well, it is an Indie Horror movie. The film is certainly more watchable if you fast forward through all the slow bits...a 30 minute watch is much more deserving than struggling through the full length of this lacklustre effort (a nearly 2 hour, overly protracted runtime). Credit must be given for some creative gory effects delivered on such a low budget...but that's about where the accolades stop. With hand on heart I really can't recommend this for horror fans. How this has an 85% audience rating is beyond me. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/02/24 Full Review Moko K One of the dumbest movies I have seen. Bad acting, stupid characters and horrible production makes this a total waste of time. Run away! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/15/24 Full Review JJJJJJ J At times its good... at times its so bad its good. We have to start with the screenplay... The write is so bad. Just incredibly bad. So many cringy moments and so much poorly written dialogue. There are some passable moments but not enough. Next comes the plot. It isn't good. It seems like a grab bag of horror tropes that goes on for way to long. The special effects were above average... for this film at least. There was one bad scene but the rest was passable and there were some good moments. There were also some poor choices with music(non-diegetic sound should have ended but didn't and took away from dialogue in moment... or maybe they just continued the music cause the acting was so bad...). There was one laughably bad continuity error and some other minor ones. The acting is mixed at best. And by mixed at best I mean some are downright awful some are passable. I think one of the actors realized how bad this movie was and was straight up having a good time with it. There were a few good laughs from it and it made the movie way more engaging. If the whole movie took that tone it would have been fairly good. But the movie didn't instead it took its self way to seriously and instead ended up twice as long as it should have been in the process. To be honest I could go on with all the problems with this film but I'll stop here. I'd highly recommend skipping this film. It is a boring watch and provides no nuances in story/plot or technique to redeem it. Unfortunate because there might have actually been potential. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/30/23 Full Review John D Endurable low-budget thriller with supernatural elements and unfortunately, a number of "wait a minute..." moments that pulled me out of the story. Still, given that director Roselli was also wearing the hats for writing/producing/editing, an admirable accomplishment. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/09/23 Full Review Patrick S Amateurish flick with some good moments. But the plot is ridiculous and the acting is poor. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/06/23 Full Review Regina P The first thing that needs to be addressed is the terrible acting. I would say the lead robber and the witch were the only 2 whose acting was adequate. Everyone else failed miserably. The story was so-so. It wasn't anything terribly innovative, but it could've worked with better dialogue and better photography. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
