Andrew Stover Film Threat All in all, this fleeting romance is perfectly imperfect, just like most if not all relationships. Rated: 7.5/10 Dec 3, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Irene T This movie has very high artistic value. Its uniqueness would make it a particularly classic art film. The purest communication from the depths of two people's hearts, their utmost trust in each other, and their deepest admiration for each other, turn romance and deep emotions into attachment and memories. The ending is particularly ingenious in its design. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/20/23 Full Review fiona w Thoroughly enjoyed this movie from start to finish, the actors do an expert job bringing this heartfelt script to life and the art direction really takes you back. Would highly recommend this film and getting a landline for nostalgia in that order. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Him and Her. Innocence encapsulates this filmmaker's anthem. "Him and Her" joins the cannon of films that imitate our deepest longings… As benefactors of happy accidents that exploit our awful secrets and unyielding isolation, co-morbid to this business of being alive. It does this in every element of its production… Sound. Light. Place and Production Design. Pace… Falling in love is possible again, if you thought it long gone. From the begining until its very end, irresistible reckonings of the nakedness endemic to merging with another, and its magnificent randomness, shows it wicked facade that eats the viewer alive and spits it back out into the world by films end. What remains long after the first watch is a youthful purity to return to the definition of safety we perhaps never had nor knew exists, but strikes the viewer as ancestral, biological, philosophical, and fucking healthy… If only we can hold onto this way of perceiving the other, and our needs and the struggle… The film is better than religion. It merges with all that is in its sincerity and plight to remain pure Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This is one of the few best movies I've seen in 2021. A true story that happened to the director of this film in 1989. Two people whose phone lines got crossed purely by chance and formed a bond like no other. Engaging from start to finish. The music is right on, beautifully and skillfully shot, the story is well-written. Price of ticket well spent. Wish they would make more movies like this.
