The movie centers around the Quinns and DeLucas who have lived next door to each other for decades in the shadow of Highmark Stadium -- the home of their beloved Buffalo Bills. With their longtime friendship rooted in being proud members of Bills Mafia, the two clans have enjoyed cherished traditions that revolve around cheering for their favorite team -- especially at the holidays when they celebrate the last home game before Christmas. Pediatric doctor Morgan Quinn and the Bills' VP of Stadium Development Gabe DeLuca have always been close friends, but Gabe has always held a torch for her -- a fact obvious to their families... and everyone else who crosses their path. When Morgan learns from her Uncle Tommy that someone anonymously helped her family get by after he was drafted more than 60 years ago -- and that he continues to receive a Christmas gift each year to this day -- she decides to find his benefactor and give her uncle a Christmas he'll always remember. Aided by Bills Mafia friends of theirs, Morgan and Gabe work together to unwrap the gifter's identity. Along the way, Gabe's love for Morgan deepens and in turn, she begins to see him in a new light though neither is daring enough to admit their feelings. Meanwhile, Morgan's hopes of pulling off her surprise for Uncle Tommy get sacked. That is, until Gabe takes matters into his own hands and uses his connections with the Bills to pull off the surprise of a lifetime for Morgan and both their families that will make this a Christmas they'll never forget.

Since the central plot has nothing to do with the Bills, Holiday Touchdown doubles down on cameos. Pro football players pop up so frequently, it's like Morgan and Game are playing the Buffalo Bills version of Pokémon Go.

As a born-and-bred Buffalonian and member of the Bills Mafia, the collaboration between Hallmark and our beloved city and team resulted in a charming, warm love story that also captured the beauty, heart, and spirit of the Queen City.

Hallmark, Christmas, romance, Buffalo Bills. You knew what you were in for before you started watching. I hate to think they will continue for all 32 teams (or at least the ones who get snow). Somewhat fun because of all the cameos and attempts to incorporate Buffalo local color.

Just bad. Not a Hallmark person, but the plot was plain stupid, the characters not even vaguely resembling human beings, and the writing cringworthy. Hell, they got paid for this and I guess people (especially from Buffalo) watched it. So who am I to say! Right? Still, I turned it off halfway, so it wasted my time and deserves my rating!

I love Hallmark movies but this one was too cheesy. I watched it with my daughter-in-law who is from Buffalo. Gosh, the image you gave of the Buffalo family was not positive at all and appeared to be making a mockery of the Bills' fans. I'm not sure if the main actress was attempting an accent but it didn't work. My daughter-in-law is going with me on the Hallmark Christmas Cruise next year and I'm disapointed that this was her first introduction to a Hallmark movie. More disapointing was the fact it was about her hometown. I'm surprised that more Buffalonians weren't offended.

It was awful everything the two love birds spoke I cringed, and there was no story line at all, other than the director telling Gabe to smolder every time that he looked at Morgan. The "surprises" weren't there and it was bland wrong and a disgrace to Hallmark and Christmas, let's not even talk about that the Christmas decorations had everything, yes everything with the Bills, the Bills suck. Even the carolers suck too. I can't recommend, and if you have watched it I'm sorry.
