Steve Biodrowski ESplatter Fine technical craftsmanship and solid performances fight a losing battle with rampant stupidity in this entertaining Mexican horror film, which is alternately atmospheric and silly. Jul 4, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Another Mexican Horror release from Casanegra Ent , which has a good collection of Mexican Horror. At first I thought our Monster was a werewolf, but the more I think about it the more we have a Mexican Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. When you see the monster you will know what I mean. As with all Mexican Horror I have seen to date, its very entertaining, and the best actor in most of the Casanegra Ent films has to be Abel Salazar, he is very comical. This is a good Friday Night Popcorn Film. I have to give it 4 stars Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member While this doesn't benefit from the same production circumstances as the Mexican Dracula, its a good effort at recapturing the greatness of Universal horror. The fx makeup is now laughable, but no worse than much later AIP and Hammer efforts. And unlike many of the former, the atmosphere in this usually works. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member An excellent Mexican horror movie that gives an original Faustian twist to the Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde story that gives a new depth to the classic tragedy of the man with dual personalities. The awesome Gothic cinematography and the outstanding score make this a must-see Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
