Audience Member Christmas movie starring a very young Jennifer Love Hewitt. Believe it or not, it's from Roger Corman and directed by Jim Wynorski (!). Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I was in this movie....in the cafe. Lovie Hewitt was adorable! fun times.... Howard Hessman rocks! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member "If you had just left me alone I would be with my real mother instead of stuck here with you." For 9 year old Heather, having millions is misery! Stuck with a money-grubbing stepmother, Heather escapes to find her real mom. But Heather's stepmom isn't about to let her meal ticket go without a battle. So she hires Nick Frost, Private Eye, to bring her back. Then, in a crafty case of double-cross, Mrs. Freeloading Stepmother sics the Feds on Nick - for the kidnapping of one Little Miss Millions. There's nothing like a good trip to make best friends out of anybody. Little Miss Millions was directed by Jim Wynorski and released on June 1, 1993 - leading me to wonder how can a Christmas-themed movie would come out that early in the summer? I recently found this title and wanted to see what Jennifer Love Hewitt (although the credits listed her as "Love Hewitt") was doing before starring in Party Of Five. She was young and incredible in her performance, playing a brave girl who would run away alone...at least until her first bus stop. All that time I thought Howard Hesserman's Nick Frost character looked like a creepy stranger because of the way he takes young Heather but he's actually a nice guy; they may have had their rocky start at first but then they finally understand each other later on. As for the storyline its picturesque quality may be typical of the made-for-television or direct-to-video movie which I thought it was on its release yet I understood its action and liked it anyways.

Flixster - Share Movies

Overall, I can say that Little Miss Millions, Home For Christmas, or Little Miss Zillions - take your pick of alternate title, I don't mind at all - is a very good movie of the holidays. I feel that fans of Love...I mean, Jennifer Love Hewitt...and anyone with strong '90s nostalgia might discover this forgotten gem and would enjoy it. And while I may be too young to remember this I was glad to have picked it up for my own viewing opportunity.
