Great film! So funny. A lovely tale of a mother and son bonding with halarious consequences. Slapstick humour done very well. It's a bit cringey in a halarious way when the mother has to pretend she's married to her son to stay in a luxurious room at a luxury resort. I would highly recommend for some light fun watching.

Fun movie. Has a lit of real life advice in a lighthearted way. It highlights the mother son relationship, how we take parents for granted, how we repeat our origin story mistakes, and the rite of passage of seeing our parents as humans who were once young and still have goals and desires for their life. Despite the fun feel, most actors are seasoned and not lacking in the acting department.

Funny movie with some sentimental parts too! It was great at making me laugh but there were just some questionable bits which I still can't get past. I feel like the mother/son lines were blurred a bit too much. Other than that I would say watch it if you enjoy good use of comedic timing but if you're looking for depth apart from a few family lessons here and there then this is not the movie for you.

This movie belongs in the horror comedy genre, in a very unfortunate way. The script did Quim Gutiérrez an injustice. Gutiérrez is a fine actor who, in my opinion, can do it all- although, I think he is typically superb in romantic comedy. But, "Honeymoon With My Mother" was too flat with little substance. It was way too long and it was rather predictable. And, I thought at one moment that anyone who utters to his mother "You are the love of my life" then I am not surprised you were left at the altar. The film tries to relay a message that one can often take a mother for granted instead of seeing her as a woman with wants and desires who also happens to be a mother. But, there were so many more ways to achieve that message instead of overworked scenes of mom and son pretending to be married. Yolanda Ramos was the highlight of the film. Her comedic skills helped prevent my eyes from rolling in the back of my head. Still, I hung on throughout and I was hoping the ending might surprise me. No such luck!
