This was horrible. The anime sequernces were cool and if they would have kept that through the whole movie, this would have been better. But with the quality fo the cast, they could have had better production values. Snoop is so charismatic, how can you not like this guy? Snoop fits right in here. Ernie Hudson did good as well. Everything else though, wasteful.

Oh, that Snoop. Apparantly Bones never scared him away from the genre and he now returns with this anthology film. In it's favour, it is entertaining in a cheesy way and quite gory, but the stories...oh dear. They remind me of an anthology novel I wrote when maybe 10 (well I considered it a novel) called Curse of the Werewolf. Looking back on it, they were gory as hell, but written by a ten year old idjit. Still it was just a little worse written than this.

So this film is in the vein of Tales from the Crypt and those film that are a trio of horror stories, in this one, Snoop is the story teller. I gotta say, this movie starts off cool. The animated parts are really slick and stylistically done, and the two first stories are pretty good. Great appearances by Danny Trejo and Ernie Hudson, it's really hard not to like them in something, it also has "Jungle Julia", from DEATH PROOF in it, but the final story is stupid as hell, despite the appearance of Diamond Dallas Page, who actually does and terrible job, and Snoop doing and rap song to sume up what you just saw, it leaves a really bad taste in your mouth and makes you feel like this movie was a just a silly piece of shit. So if you go to watch this movie, turn it off after the second story, you'll enjoy it a hell of a lot more and it will only take under an hour of your time.
