Jeny L 08/20/2024 I honestly thought Johnathon Schaech did a good job portraying Houdini. His performance was believable & seemed genuine. Don't prejudge the movie just because it was a made for TV one. After all almost every made for TV movie is a slight bit cringe-worthy. But what is NOT cringe-worthy is Schaech's acting. He should have gotten more praise for his performance than he did. See more 09/30/2015 You lost me at two things: 1. This is a TV movie. 2. Jonathon Schaech is over his head in the role, it needed a much more enigmatic actor. Bland, not particularly convincing, it has too many slow stretches, especially near the end.
